I worked as a Theatre Designer for children and young people, making and designing set and costume for small-scale touring shows; in addition to teaching costume at Central St Martins, London (where I trained) and later as Course Leader of Theatre Design and Production Crafts at Northbrook College, West Sussex.
In 2006 I changed direction and have been developing and finding my artistic voice through experimentation, producing figurative paintings, landscapes and portraits in oils.
Every artist interprets the world through his or her vision and experience. My work is principally inspired by people and life’s journey. I try to observe and interpret with a compassionate eye.
