Bibi Baker at 42 Livingstone Road

My influences, since I started to paint, are the warm, fleshy tones of the mediterranean and the inpressionists who found inspiration there. I love to spread thick layers of acrylic and oil paint onto canvas to imitate still lifes of nature, objects in my home which inspire me, a beautiful ripe fruit or a moroccan bowl...... New to Sussex, I was happy to find a group of creative, enterprising people on my doorstep here in Burgess hill. Having lived and sold my work in Italy and southern France, I`m now looking forward to sharing ideas and getting feedback from visitors and fellow artists and just enjoying the open studio weekends!
